  3. Summary: Assembly Bill 1036 allows Notaries to accept as identification any form of ID issued by a sheriff's department that is current or has been issued in the past 5 years for a prisoner in custody in a county jail or local detention facility.

  6. Chapter: 42

  7. Affects: Amends Civil Code Section 1185.

National Notary Association Names Tom Wrosch March Fong Eu Achievement Award Recipient. SALEM, ORE. - February 11, 2019

 

Wrosch Selects Western Oregon University To Receive $1,000 Scholarship

The National Notary Foundation endowed a $1,000 scholarship to Western Oregon University (WOU) as part of the honors granted to Tom Wrosch as the 2015 recipient of the National Notary Association’s (NNA) March Fong Eu Achievement Award. Wrosch joined Bill Anderson, the NNA’s vice president of government affairs, at the State Capitol building in Salem, Oregon at 2:00 p.m. today to present the check to WOU Professor Molly Mayhead.
